This can be attained through improvements in the following areas: cleanliness, safety and spirituality and the developmnet of international mindedness. This is accordance with the National Education Philosophy, the vision of the Residential Schools Sector and the vision of the State Education Department.
The IBDP MCKK aims to develop students of character who will be independent lifelong learners in keeping with the college’s quest for overall excellence in producing responsible leaders who uphold traditional values and national aspirations towards creating a productive and peaceful global future.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Mission

The International Baccalaureate® (IB)  is more than its educational programmes and certificates. At our heart we are motivated by a mission to create a better world through education.
We value our hard earned reputation for quality, for high standards and for pedagogical leadership. We achieve our goals by working with partners and by actively involving our stakeholders, particularly teachers.
We promote intercultural understanding and respect, not as an alternative to a sense of cultural and national identity, but as an essential part of life in the 21st century.

The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

The National Education Philosophy

“Education in Malaysia is an ongoing effort towards further developing the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner, so as to produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically balanced and harmonious, based on a firm belief in and devotion to God. Such an effort is designed to produce Malaysian citizens who are knowledgeable and competent, who possess high moral standards, and who are responsible and capable of achieving high levels of personal well-being as well as being able to contribute to the harmony and betterment of the family, the society, and the nation at large.”
